Copper Water Bottle Canada: Handmade, Lab-Tested, Shipped from Vancouver

Kaarigar Handicrafts is a Vancouver, BC company. We make our copper water bottles, pitchers and vessels in our own workshop in India, and Canadian orders ship from Vancouver. There's no cross-border shipping, so no import duties or brokerage fees at your door, and prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

Why buy your copper water bottle from a Canadian company

  • Ships within Canada: Canadian orders ship from Vancouver. Overseas sellers and many marketplace listings ship from abroad, and Canadian buyers can be charged duties, taxes or courier brokerage fees on delivery.
  • Prices in CAD: what you see at checkout is what you pay, with no currency surprises on your card.
  • We are the maker, not a reseller: Kaarigar has been making copperware since 2013. Each copper water bottle is formed from one seamless piece of copper and hand-hammered at least 1,200 times. No joints, no solder.
  • Lab-tested: 99%+ pure copper (99.51% on our latest mill certificate), and an accredited government lab found lead and cadmium below detection limits in an FDA leaching test. See both lab reports.
  • Easy returns: unused items can be returned within 30 days in their original packaging. See our refund policy.

What to check before buying a copper bottle in Canada

  1. Is it really pure copper? Many low-cost "copper" bottles on marketplaces are plated or lined. Ask for a purity certificate. Here is how to tell real copper from plated.
  2. Has it been tested for lead? The real risk in cheap copperware is lead or cadmium from low-grade metal or solder. Ask for a leaching test on the finished product.
  3. Where does it ship from? If it ships from outside Canada, check whether duties and brokerage fees are included.
  4. Who made it? A maker can show you how and where the bottle was made. A reseller usually can't.
