The sound produced by an authentic singing bowl is that of the AUM – the absolute. There are two basic ways of playing a handmade Tibetan singing bowl. One is by striking it with the wooden wand for percussive, pulsating tones. And the other is by circling the edges repeatedly with the wand for a sustained effect.  Resting the singing bowl upon the palm of your hand will usually enable you to appreciate the experience to a greater depth than placing the bowl on a pad.

These are "basic" Tibetan Singing Bowls. They are made using the sand-casting technique which involves much less effort as compared to the usual handmade Himalayan singing bowl. Although they are not hand beaten, they still proved good energy.

• Hand Beaten Singing Bowls

It takes 5 artisans a week to complete each one of the Handmade Singing Bowls. The sound of these bowls is a lot deeper. It also carries the karma from the effort of the artisans.
