Why does my copper vessel tarnish with use?
Pure, untreated copper will always tarnish with use. This is normal and is called “patina”. It is not harmful to health. In fact, in a few months the entire inner wall of your vessel will develop an “antique finish”. Every few weeks clean with a wedge of lemon or a vinegar and salt solution.
