How To Care for Your Copper Water Dispenser

Cleaning your vessel is very important to safely enjoy the health benefits for years to come. 

Pure uncoated copper will always tarnish with use immediately even if the handmade Copper Water Dispenser Set is made from high quality copper or sold at a higher price. Copper will NEVER rust or corrode. So, to prevent itself from corrosion copper forms a coating by itself, which is a form of copper and hence, it not harmful to health. This is called Patina. 

In a few weeks the entire inside of your vessel will develop an “antique finish” which proved that you are using pure copper. However, there is nothing to worry about and you can continue to use it as normal. 

Note: Hand wash only using regular detergent. Do not use a dish washer. 

Every few weeks, clean your Copper Water Dispenser Set more thoroughly. For this - 

- Pour 1/2 Cup of white vinegar. Add 2 teaspoons of salt. Fill with water and leave for 30 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly and wash with detergent before use.
